Pros

A wide range of tech stacks (if you can survive). Plenty of opportunities. Immediate people managers are brilliant and always stand for their people.

Cons

Full of ambiguity in the leadership team. The same confusions are visible on the delivery side of leadership. No clear and larger vision for future growth. Have not moved from a startup to a scale-up mindset. Hiring people without any experience in the area and keeping them in the decision-making positions. Hiring people often with no job descriptions/expectations with very myopic vision. Recent average associations of new hires have not been more than 6 months.

Pros

They have beer on tap in the lunch room.

Cons

The beer kegs and coke fridge are often empty. Losing lots of customers, salespeople not winning enough new business, crappy tools and processes, lots of staff churn, pressure really going on remaining staff as profits shrink. Jobs are being cut, and more work is piled on remaining staff. Don't be fooled by the HR spin; they sell the dream and deliver a nightmare.
