Pros

Working in home with clients to genuinely enrich their lives is satisfying. You can set your own schedule as long as you're in touch with clients. Company vehicle. Average Progression. Ability to earn commission*

Cons

Pay rate is ridiculously low for the quality of work, responsibility and skill expected. Lots of the jobs you end up at are just something a salesperson put through to get their commission. Trivial 2 minute fixes on a cellphone or 'make an amazon prime account' It feels wrong to be billing so highly for these. Van sales targets mean that you're expected to sell in home, which diminishes the value of actually shopping with noel leemings instore and throws off your schedule for the rest of the day (if you sell a service). *Earning commission is not something you can do instore and is relegated to in home and the 'upsells' they want are ridiculous. 'development' is comptia A+, I find it uncomfortable that the company will send people into homes, at a premium price who need significant development to achieve this.

Pros

Great Staff discount for the product

Cons

1. Very Low Salary, 20 cents above Minimum 2. Very bad working Environment, you can’t seat at all even you are working behind the counter. PB or Harvey Normal have seat for count staff. 3. Very bad management. At least for the store I was working, the manager don’t respect you at all. He will say you are worth nothing, and disrespectful words all the time. 4. Sometimes you are not allowed to take lunch breaks if the store is really busy. 5. Retail floor is always busy, and tiring. this is normal. But if you can’t stand all day, no patient for rude customers, then 100 percent, don’t apply this job.

Pros

Good as a temporary job, while you find something else.

Cons

Noel Leeming gets a lot of things wrong including: * Illegal questions on the job application. * Lying to candidates at job interviews about the nature of the job they have applied for. * Forcing staff to supply and use their own equipment (personal cell phone), so they can do their jobs. * Constant pressure to sell extended warranties that are of questionable usefulness to the customer. * Management that seems clueless on even the basic laws that govern the retail industry. * Very questionable business practices across the board (Noel Leeming has been slamed on multiple occasions for breaches of the Fair Trading Act). * A very difficult to use computer system that was created over 30 years ago and runs on MS DOS. This becomes a huge impediment to doing your job and is an embaressment when serving customers. * A search engine so bad it is almost impossible to find anything on their web site/computer system.
