Pros

There are a lot of good people trying their best to work with what they have, to the best of their abilities. The hard workers putting in their elbow grease is the only thing good about the entire organisation

Cons

24/7 Shifts 365 days a year - prepare yourself to work weekends, public holidays and even Christmas without much thanks or appreciation. Very poorly paid role with poor remuneration protocols throughout. I received less than a 3% increase in my 18 months, with a starting salary of $46k. Not much is done to show appreciation for hard work put in (24/7 teams never get “a day/afternoon off” to *all* come together as a team to lift team spirit/morale - when I brought this up with management I was told “you get paid to do your job, not to require incentive/morale boosters to do your job efficiently) Severely understaffed team, meaning everyone is stretched thin and some are required to work 10+ hour shifts back to back every weekend to shoulder the load. Most new starters who joined the 24/7 team quit within 3-6 months. Leave is required to be requested 6-8 weeks in advance or it would likely be denied. I saw 12 permanent staff members resigned in my time with the 24/7 team, 2 of which were team leaders. Overall I was essentially chained to a desk and forced to work till I physically and mentally could not bare it any more and quit during this entire COVID-19 fiasco.

Pros

Lots of learning opportunities and very nice management and supervisors.

Cons

Work load is always heavy towards the last couple hours of the day. Unsure how to grow in the company.
