Pros

Peer level employees are very knowledgeable, hard-working, and are friendly. Potential to be so much better has been identified and solutions have been presented. You will gain a lot of experience here because resources are stretched extremely thin. You'll have to be a master of all.

Cons

Senior Management and above allow and enable a very negative environment. Promotions are given to known bullies across several departments. Hard work is rewarded with additional workload to compensate for the downsizing of people (or the positions that are never replaced when someone was lucky enough to get out!) and your resources will never be increased (most likely, resources will be reduced but the expectations will be over the top). People, resources, and departments are stretched to counter productive levels. Raises are not on par with cost of living increases, bonuses never get close to being paid out at the percentage you have in your plan, and if you do get a promotion...the increase in pay is laughable. Talent retention is not a priority or even a care to the company. The perception of many is that upper management views employees as very replaceable.

Pros

Strategic partnerships across internal departments; access to leverage multiple partners, SME, tools, resources to win opportunities; education/training opportunities are expansive and accessible. Great work culture!

Cons

So big, we get in our own way; escalating to problem-solve is extremely laborious and tedious to get standardized unified KPIs for consistency/expectations. Terrible onboarding for new hires; lowers morale from the beginning-on your own to figure it out if you do not have an organized, attention-to-detail manager-too long to help have experienced talent be turn-key since the applications/CRMs are extremely outdated; finding who you need to get an answer is cumbersome; if you do not know people, you will take that much longer to find the right internal partner to assist with basic tasks.
