Hiring bar is too low - Software Engineer Silver Fern Farms Employee Review

I feel so disappointed that our hiring bar has become so low. Recently someone who previously worked from Intouch was hired as test lead. What makes me so astonished is this guy has no any idea of basic IT skills and knows nothing about software test knowledge. I don’t know how he passed the interview screen process. Obviously something is wrong with our recruitment process or background screen process. It was a nice place with lots of great mates. Now I feel so frustrated as the good mates left and the incompetent ones like this filled in.
