🚫 Personal Experience at BAT (IDT Function) Unfortunately, my experience within the Information & Digital Technology (IDT) function at BAT is disappointing so far. Here are a few key concerns: Lack of growth opportunities: Career development felt stagnant with minimal support or unstructured pathways. Toxic culture: The environment was heavily influenced by internal politics and biased leadership, which created challenges in collaboration and morale. Questionable leadership practices: Leadership lacked transparency and inclusivity, contributing to a demotivating workplace culture. Regulatory constraints: Ongoing regulatory challenges has paused sustainability and survival within the function. Given these issues, I would not recommend this department within BAT to professionals seeking a positive and progressive work environment.
