applied through online platform and then invited to do online Video Interview. Two set of comprehension like type of questions followed by a video recording interview to answer specific questions
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Louis Vuitton (Jakarta) in Nov 2023
Interview
Decent experience, but communication and scheduling could be better :)
I interviewed at Louis Vuitton Jakarta while I was still in university. Overall, the experience wasn’t bad or toxic, but there were definitely a few things that felt a bit off.
First, the interviewer arrived quite late because they were out for lunch, so I had to wait around for them to finish, which wasn't the best start. Also, I wasn't told beforehand that it would be a group interview instead of a 1-on-1. Walking into a room and realizing I had to compete on the spot with other candidates definitely made me more nervous and uncomfortable than expected.
The biggest downside, though, was the communication afterward. The HR team explicitly told me they would let me know the result either way, but I ended up getting completely ghosted. Even if I didn't get the job—maybe because I was still a student and they needed someone full-time, who knows—I would have really appreciated a quick update or some feedback so I could learn from it.
It’s a luxury brand so it's a cool experience to have, but the candidate experience definitely needs a bit more transparency and respect for people's time.
