Interview
Online submission (I think applications open in September and close in June when the AC is). After you have shortlisted, there is a telephone call with a friendly woman who is head of Early Careers who asked "What attracts you to this role?" and talks through any work experience you have had. The next and final step in the Assessment Centre. I attended their first ever AC - they rented out a suite in a stadium so really invested into it, flowing refreshments, organised day, travel reimbursed etc. AC split into 4 sections: first is a cafe after registration where you mingle with a staff member - ask them questions about the role and company and engage with them. Next is the group task - solving a problem and quickly presenting it. I would say work together, listen, try your hardest and voice your views. Next, one-to-one interview. Questions included "when would your friends and family say you are at your best?", "a time when you achieved a goal", "group achieving something to solve a problem" and follow up questions, "did anything go wrong", "what would you change", "any challenging team members and what did you do". "If you were on an island with your team members, why would YOU be responsible for getting everyone off the island". "What unique attributes do you bring". Final activity is an analytical review and presentation - given a business report or told to design something and you analyse/improve its performance. There are follow up questions. Very final unassessed activity is working in a group to build some blocks. It's a lovely organised day - I met great, hardworking people. I would say be yourself and prep before with competency based questions and study the job description. I received my offer a week later. Good luck! If it's not meant to be, then something is better in store for you so don't dwell on it.

Interview
Professional interview environment and a nice office in Northern Virginia. Spoke with 4 different employees at varying levels about the position and my skills and resume. They asked technical questions and gave me a whiteboard to write my answers on. They also asked situational questions to determine how I would handle certain sticky scenarios in the office.
