Investing in new digital business models Henkel has expanded its presence in the digital direct-to-consumer market by investing in two Beauty Care start-ups: youtiful and Purish. This collaboration will increase our expertise in new trends and business models.
The Laundry & Home Care Division has revolutionized its global supply chain to put itself at the forefront of huge ongoing digital change within Henkel. The key figures behind this transformation were recently featured in a special article published by the Digital Bulletin.
Next step in the fight against plastic. Henkel is committing to use product packaging using 100% recycled plastic for our Beauty Care and Laundry & Home Care products. Up to 50% of this figure will be sourced from Social Plastic®, which is collected before it enters oceans or waterways. This marks the latest exciting phase in our partnership with the social enterprise, Plastic Bank.
Show and Tell with Henkel X in Barcelona. Start-ups and sustainability were on the agenda at the recent Henkel X partner event in Barcelona. CDO Dr. Rahmyn Kress, a host of digital experts and guest speakers from a range of partner organizations all came together for this inspiring event hosted by IESE Business School.
Henkel celebrates 50 years of Pritt. To mark this special anniversary, our UK team decided to get creative by bringing their childhood dreams to life in support of ‘We craft for children’. Each team member was given the task of creating a paper figure depicting what they wanted to be as a child. The models have all been collected and sent to Germany, where they will form a giant sculpture with Henkel making a charitable donation in return for each one sent!

From intern to team head. Aman went from being an intern to working full time for Henkel Singapore as Head of Aerospace-AT South East Asia team. Now he’s responsible for developing the business area’s sales strategy and leading its sales team. “I like the entrepreneurial spirit at Henkel and am very happy to be working in a diverse business area which gives me a chance to learn from people from across the organization”, he says.
