This year’s National Health Center Week theme "Powering Communities Through Caring Connections," captures the incredible work and dedication of Team ACCESS. Whether it’s behind the scenes, within the walls of our health centers, or out in the community connecting with residents and partners, each and every member of ACCESS makes a significant impact on our patients and the communities we serve. This week, we join community health centers from across the nation to raise awareness about the vital role community health centers play to meet the physical, behavioral, and spiritual needs of our patients, while addressing social determinants of health and creating health equity.
ACCESS is a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community and we work every day to address the health disparities that persist across race, gender, sexual orientation, and class. Our community health center is proud to offer a comprehensive approach to health care including, primary care, behavioral health, HIV treatment, prevention and support programs, gender-affirming hormonal treatment, and more. We are driven by our vision to improve health outcomes and achieve health equity within our communities. This month, and every day, our staff is committed to creating safe spaces for all patients regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation, and we believe everyone deserves access to quality, inclusive health care.
In honor of National Nurses Week, please join us in celebrating all the #TeamACCESS nurses who support ACCESS' mission every day and continue providing our patients and communities with high quality care. ACCESS is committed to bridging the gaps in health care and continues to strive toward health equity for our patients. We are proud to have nurses like Natalie Avalos, ACCESS Regional Operations Manager, who use their nursing expertise to advocate for our communities. #NursesWeek2024
