Great remote job with a supportive team

Pros

Fully remote job Some good perks like PerkBox Nice team Nice culture among managers Overall a good place to work, I like it working there.

Cons

Not very many I can think of. Health insurance (even a low level tier) would be really nice, lots of other MSPs offer health insurance and it may incentivise Transparity to retain people if we had some form of health insurance.

Flexible working, inflexible thinking

Pros

Genuinely remote-first — not just a perk on paper. The flexibility to work from anywhere is real and consistently respected across teams. The company invests in its people's development. Dedicated growth days and a training budget mean you're not left to figure out your own progression on your own time and dime. If you're early in your career, there are real opportunities to move up. Promotions aren't just theoretical — juniors who perform are recognised and given a clear path forward.

Cons

Management is laser-focused on timesheets and utilisation rates — output and impact take a back seat to whether your hours are logged correctly. The tech stack is a graveyard of spreadsheets. Every problem spawns a new one, and 'urgent' spreadsheet requests are a weekly occurrence. Proper tooling investment is long overdue. Blame culture is deeply embedded. Escalating to someone's line manager is treated as a first resort, not a last one — and if you're on the receiving end, you're guilty until proven innocent. Redundancies happen without warning, only for the same roles to be advertised months later. It leaves employees feeling disposable and undermines any sense of job security. Bureaucracy is suffocating. Getting anything done requires navigating layers of approval and process that seem designed to slow things down rather than protect quality.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your review, your feedback is important and appreciated. We're glad to hear that Winning From Anywhere is embedded and working for people as well as our personal development pathways, these are key parts of our culture and success to date. We appreciate your feedback on tooling and process. We recognise this and it's a top priority for us to make it easier for us all to do our jobs and hope you see the benefits coming through in your day to day role. As with many industries, we are at the mercy of the market and economy which can lead to making difficult operational decisions. These are rare and we work hard to ensure everyone has an opportunity to expand their skillset and continue to do great work for our customers.

Pros

Pays well and has a good culture to support their staff

Cons

A bit of a bubble of staff, if you’re not in it in you kind of feel like an outsider

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback, we're really pleased to hear you feel you're paid well and that the culture of support is there. Thanks for your comments too about feeling included - in a company when we're working primarily remote it can feel like some people are more connected and visible than others. We're finalising our Winning from Anywhere charter which will set clear expectations of us all and how we lean in to the business to help us all win, and working on a range of initiatives to help people feel more individually connected to the business and the people in it.
