Though OT used to say we see all the employees as one, there is discrepancy, legacy HPE/MF employees are used to get fired. And the security guy and site HR will be out of the room right after you attend the layoff call with your manager. unexpected layoffs, i joined in july 2025 and worked in opentext for 8 month and was layedoff. the non professional way of handling a layoff will realy hit you, one fine day they'll call you with manager , amanagers manager and an hr, the unprofessional way of conveying this to you is so bad, i wa stold my managers that as part if org resturcturing my role is effect and layoff, the hr was like in the call itself give us a mail in writting taht you are rresigning on your own if so yo will get a 1 month extra pay as compensation and a experience letter, else they will ahve to send a terminationm letter without an extra month alary, that too we have to decide within the meeting room for in person and in the calll for the employee connecting remotely

Manager and work culture is bad They hire you and can fire you anytime! The company is very very unstable. And the team and management expect you to come to office everyday and not take sick leaves even. Please do your due diligence before considering this as an option
