Pros

* Motivated people doing a cloud transformation for a company that was lagging, but wanted to improve. * Fast tracking AGILE work practices to existing teams, with great success. * Work from home, assuming you were lucky enough to get it written in your contract and not rely on verbal promises. * Super high-spec equipment, but unlikely that's continued under OpenText.

Cons

* Acquired by OpenText, then the cuts began. * Redundancies after merger were planned, then more people kept disappearing without notice. * "Us v. Them" mentality, and if you weren't OpenText then you were a 2nd class citizen. * Return to office was transparently a ploy to force people to resign, saving the cost of redundancies. No flexibility, even if a simple (and no cost) change would have been the sensible thing to do. They were aggressively driving people away. * Office politics on a level I've never experienced, as everyone was afraid of losing their job. * Company meetings where the image is of us being The Best... Amazing... Incredible... but the reality on the ground is that our middle and senior management were sacked, and the new OpenText overlords that replaced them were short-sighted and mostly incompetent. They destroyed our team before they understood what we did, then seemed to regret it. * Employees with long service acquired extra annual vacation, had it summarily revoked and I don't think they were adequately compensated. * New rules blocked any management lines in to or out of India. Directors lost entire departments, and staff were shunted to new "non-India" managers... but with dotted line reporting. Suddenly everyone had two bosses, and lost focus of who was in charge. * Anyone good found a new job, except those with long service that stuck around for a redundancy payout.
