Pros

Lots of job openings because people are constantly quitting. Some very good co-workers and well-meaning supervisors. PTO's adequate.

Cons

Very, very hostile work environment. Pay is bottom of the barrel. Rampant favoritism. Very poorly managed company. Did very poorly in Great Place to Work survey for good reason.

Pros

NONE. Glassdoor is requiring me to enter at least 5 words here.

Cons

Please save yourself and don't even interview here. I never understand the MASSIVE amount of security they have here at their office in the suburbs (more than any city skyscraper I've worked in) but now I do- because THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO WORK EVER. Quitting this job was the best day of my life. If you like blatant favoritism, racism, and an oppressive work environment, then this is the job for you. I was lied to during my interview, given no training, given performance reviews I wasn't told would happen and what the score sheet would look like, never given performance goals and looked down upon by my manager because I was an outside hire. I was told to forget my 8 years of knowledge. I was treated like I had been working at a fast food joint before. There are NO underwriting guidelines, and I was told it was ridiculous to think there ever would be any. You must think exactly like your manager and be able to read her mind. I was also told during one-on-ones who I could ask questions of and who was "terrible". Nothing like your manager putting down fellow employees and gossiping in your one on one! The tension in this office is unreal. I went to HR about my concerns and they did nothing and basically expected me to be quitting. You will never have a career here. Oh, and their system was designed in Spain and is the worst system I have EVER seen. The positive reviews were obviously written by HR or somebody who has worked there for 20+ years.

Pros

The benefits were nice, and the PTO if you can get it approved. As I left they had just started to ask people to fill out full forms and wait to hear if you could have that time off (and from what I heard, even if they approved it they could come back later and say that you were no longer approved).

Cons

Company does not care about employees. Watched people who fully dedicated themselves, spending time at home (which was often asked) to help the company and going far out of their way to do more than their job be overlooked and even fired without real reason. Customer accounts very questionable. Seemingly random fees applied that we're then asked to explain and bank issues caused double charges to their EFT drafts or credit card information. Team leads have very negative view of company (and other co-workers) that they are not afraid to share once Supervisors are out of area. To make matters worse, suddenly many departments and job duties were merged, employees were asked to preform new jobs with little to no training or information, and were then micromanaged and punished afterward. Were directed to an online site which was out of date (or straight out wrong) for information and then punished for having wrong information even when showing where they'd gotten it. Team leads told co-workers that with all the additional work, we could all expect a raise. No raises. One employee told me that she had been told she was going to get a raise, was given a dollar amount that was about industry average for the work she was doing and then was called back into the office to be told that it had been dramatically cut. When a mass of our employees quit (many just walked off their shift) the company waited to hire, instead coming down harder on the remaining employees (causing more to leave). Motivational speech to keep remaining employees was in the form of an email telling us to work harder, they're disappointed with the overall call center call times..
