Low pay. Paid lower than market value for the role. Some staff is paid lesser than the lower level of their pay grade. No opportunity to career growth. Very high pressure to deliver clients endless demands from high management. Clients pay very high amounts but development staff don’t get any bonuses or any pay rises. No bonuses No pay rises or very low pay rises (100$ per year)

The company has faced financial challenges, leading to frequent redundancies throughout 2025, often occurring quarterly. Significant roles were impacted, including HR, senior engineering, QA, product owners, DevOps, and networking engineers. As a result, local leadership capacity in Christchurch has been reduced. The Christchurch office is now largely managed by US and Australian leadership, which can affect local decision-making, context awareness, and long-term stability.
