Pros

Free meal on shift over 5 hours (They say four hours in their job listings buts a lie (Great first impression on new workers)! Progression within the company (Not sure why you would want to progress to a more stressful role for a few dollars more) Sometimes there is awful free cake to “thank” us (Would be better if experienced and especially trained supervisors were paid living wage at a minimum)

Cons

Toxic Intrusive Management Would rather save on labour than properly staff a shift, meaning an awful experience for customers and employees. Violation of workers rights are common place and seem to be accepted by RGMs and Area Managers.

Pros

Entry-level accessibility. No prior experience is required for most team member roles — it's one of the easiest places to land a first job, especially as a student or new to the workforce. Flexible hours. The role can accommodate school schedules, making it popular with students and part-timers. Transferable skills. You develop strong customer service skills, and the environment teaches time management, teamwork, and working under pressure — all valuable on a resume.

Cons

Management quality varies widely. Store-by-store experience differs enormously depending on who's running the shift.
