Pros
your well being as an employee comes in first, being a private surgical hospital, they don't cater for acute or emergency cases, mostly electives. Which means all surgical cases are well planned ahead of time, making us prepared for optimum patient care periopiratively. Those are the major pros in working for Mercy Ascot, in addition to having a work/life balance.
Cons
Since it is a private hospital, there a limited chance for having a variety of nursing experience. Salary wise, there is a small chance to earn extra from holidays, weekends and night shifts.
