Pros
-The salary can be excellent (if you're happy to be sucked into a hole) -Good step count (never ending meetings)
Cons
I witnessed a broken company held together by people dedicated to their own success. Of course this happens at many companies but it's a whole other level at JE. There’s senior people shouting at each other and instances of what you could consider bullying or intimidation. The majority of people are contractors because the turnover is so high, hence why there's a never ending recruitment drive - they can't get permanent staff to stay long-term. Overall, for the majority of those I worked with it's clock in and clock out. The management are inexperienced, changing processes on the fly, choosing when and when not to implement company wide plans (different teams carrying out the same project working blind) - absolute chaos, more and more meetings saturated by too many decision makers creating more chaos. The politics killed creativity and innovation. You only have to use the app to see how poor it is and how little it's changed over the years (much of the day-to-day work is to satisfy a political agreement within the company). Finally, the company created a list of values and have no idea what they mean so performance reviews have no benchmark so basically made up. Nail in the coffin.
