Pros
A handful of committed employees doing good work despite the environment
Cons
The US CEO is unreceptive to ideas that don’t align with his own perspective, and senior staff rarely challenge him. Over time this has created a culture of “agree first, think later,” where critical thinking and innovation are discouraged -in particular in the life division. The executive team has had nearly no racial diversity for over two decades. Employees can carrying heavy workloads with little recognition or fair pay progression -depending on who is favorited or not by the CEO.
Note: especially for the life division, do your homework if you value a meritocracy with open-minded leadership and diversity.
