Pros

- Family Like Culture - Support Provided (as long as you can blend in with the culture) - Exposure to various skills ~ Flexibility to gain exposure to various other prospects e.g event management - Platform given to learn & grow

Cons

- No balance between academics and events - Direction not purposeful (can have sudden changes and sometimes the changes do not take into the account on the adaptability of both the students and the teachers. - Approach and culture can be a bit of a problem for most Singaporean unless you can blend in - Overall depends on your nature. If you are someone who’s outgoing then this place suits you (if not please avoid as you might not be able to understand a lot of the company culture and fitting in will be an issue which can take a toll on your health and mental wellbeing) - heavy on work politics ~ teaches you a lot of work arounds and survivor skills if you can survive here I am sure you can survive other toxic companies

Hello, Thanks for getting in touch and sharing your thoughts with us. It’s great to read that the family-like atmosphere stood out to you. Creating a supportive environment where people feel comfortable and can learn from each other is very important to us. We’re also glad that you enjoyed the chance to build different skills and explore new things. Having the flexibility to grow and try out new approaches is something we actively encourage and is something many of our colleagues really enjoy. At the same time, we also acknowledge your concerns. Your point about sudden changes and their impact on both teachers and students is important. Adaptability is key in our environment, but it should never come at the cost of clarity or well-being. Also, your observation about the work environment. We understand that not every setting suits everyone, and a fast-paced, highly interactive culture can feel overwhelming at times. That is something we continue to reflect on, especially when it comes to creating a more inclusive experience for different working styles and personalities. Thank you as well for your open advice to management. Even when progress may not always be immediately visible, feedback like yours helps drive ongoing improvements. We wish you all the very best for your next chapter. Warm regards, Your DHL Team

At the same time, we’re concerned to read your comment about uncomfortable interactions. Everyone should feel safe and respected at work, and situations like the one you described are not acceptable. We strongly encourage employees to report any inappropriate behavior so it can be addressed. At DHL, creating a safe and respectful working environment is a top priority. Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your experience at our Orlando site. We’re glad to read that you valued the salary, the 4x10 shift structure, and especially the relationships with your peers. At the same time, we regret the challenges you described related to senior management behavior, HR involvement, and consistency in people practices. A respectful, professional work environment where policies are applied fairly and leaders act with accountability is fundamental to our culture, and it’s clear there are areas where continued improvement is needed. To clarify, participation in company supported charitable or donation initiatives is strictly voluntary. Employees are not expected or required to contribute, and any perception of pressure is not aligned with our policies or expectations. If these initiatives were experienced differently, we would take that feedback seriously and see it as an opportunity to reflect on how our communications and practices are perceived. While we are sorry to learn that the overall culture did not meet your expectations, we appreciate you clearly outlining your concerns. Feedback like this plays an important role in ongoing reflection and improvement. Thank you for the contributions you made during your time with DHL. We wish you all the best moving forward. Best regards, Your DHL Team
