Good pay compared to some other driving jobs. Some of the staff and drivers are helpful and friendly.

From the interview until the last day of training, a lot of information was misleading. During the interview they tell you that everything is already loaded onto the trailer and there is no picking involved, but on the last day of training you suddenly find out that drivers must do picking from inside the trailer, deliver to customers, and also offload everything to get the cages back. Older drivers have their own fixed routes, but new drivers are sent anywhere they want. Overall, the job is very different from what is explained during the interview process.

Some nice people and benefits.

A significant portion of the salary is structured as a car allowance, which is excluded from pensionable earnings. As a result, the employer’s pension contribution calculated only on the base salary is relatively low. Within the IT management and business analysis teams, many staff members hold only high‑school‑level qualifications and do not possess formal business analysis certifications. For an experienced business analyst, this can create a noticeable cultural and professional adjustment. The organisation is also reluctant to invest in IT, leading to many projects being delayed, deprioritised, or shelved. This limits opportunities to work on meaningful initiatives, develop new skills, or deliver impactful change which can ultimately be detrimental to long‑term career growth.
