Pros

Once you've networked with the right people it becomes all success and excellence. Through my years of experience with Allied Universal, I was fortunate enough to work with the right accommodations and site placements. I even had a chance to demonstrate supervisor status that I never did before in private security. I think Allied Universal gives chances to anyone eager enough to try gainful employment with opportunities to prove it. One quality pro factor that Allied Universal offers is through your journey of work placements at client sites, one client site will eventually become your primary site by choice to stay permanently as a career.

Cons

Career growth is slow because Allied Universal is humongous as both a company and private corporation. Opportunities don't exist often after getting your Guard Card but if you take the opportunities as an opportunistic, you'll do fine and reach the next stages in bottom management.

Pros

Easy. If you find a spot that works for you, you can get really comfortable. My site has been peaceful 99% of the time. There's always new opportunities showing up if you need a change.

Cons

You could get stuck with less desirable positions or schedules. Dealing with management can be a bad experience. It took weeks between my original interview and training before I could pick up my uniform and actually start working on site.

Pros

there is nothing good to say

Cons

I was offered a position and hired, and went through a month long process of doing every single step to be proactive in working this position. I submitted my fingerprints did my background check sat through 16 hours of online training that was unpaid staring at a computer for eight hours straight at a time with only a 30 minute break. Then I went in for the new employee orientation, where I sat there for another four hours and completed every single on boarding step received my badge got a uniform only to be told after those four hours that the position I was hired for is no longer available this company is the most unprofessional uncommunicative company I have ever had the displeasure of potentially working for had someone communicate communicated to me throughout that whole month that the position that I was hired for is no longer available I would’ve found employment elsewhere, but they decided to dig me around for over a month.
