Pros

Huge company, so potential to work on large scale projects with tools you might not otherwise get access to. Global, so you can move around the world with it. If you get on a long-term project, you can avoid most of the BS that the company requires of you.

Cons

Utterly dehumanising. You get tonnes of responsibility but no control or influence. Massive, inflexible systems that nobody understands or can navigate. Getting anything done is near impossible. For a company with 750,000+ employees, the internal tools are terrible and fit-for-purpose for exactly no-one.

Pros

Some of the nicest people that I've worked with A great brand Good clients Nice office

Cons

This only applies to Accenture New Zealand - I was appalled at the number of cases of sexual and racial harassment (affecting males and females). I know of at least seven cases, where - despite complaints being made to HR - nothing was done, and none of the perpetrators were disciplined. You're often expected to work beyond normal hours - but not put it down on your timesheets Management who are poor at leading/managing people - and are really out of their depth. Poorly organised. High staff turnover.

Pros

Excellent hiring process that brings in highly skilled professionals. Competitive salary and benefits package. Good work-life balance and flexible working hours. Various company events aimed at employee engagement

Cons

Despite hiring top-notch talent, many employees are placed on the bench for extended periods. Mapping of skills to roles is uncommon, leading to confusing project placements. Low employee retention rate, indicating dissatisfaction among the workforce. Procurement process is cumbersome and time-consuming. hardware for technology engineers, hindering optimal performance. Difficulty in developing long-lasting relationships despite company events.| Some coworkers act as politicians, making grand promises but failing to deliver when it comes to actual work. Too many promises but little change towards improving employee retention and satisfaction. Employees can often feel lonely and abandoned, despite the many benefits offered.
