We serve the people of New Zealand by focusing on:
Revenue being available to fund government programmes through people meeting payment obligations of their own accord. People receiving payments they are entitled to, enabling them to participate in society. New Zealanders benefitting economically and socially through Inland Revenue working collaboratively across our external environment. We collect over 80% of the Crown’s revenue.
We manage student loan and child support obligations, make Working for Families, parental leave and Best Start payments, and administer KiwiSaver.
We administer the small business cashflow (loan) scheme and the resurgence support payment introduced in response to COVID-19.
