I had an initial phone screen which went really well. I was told the team wanted to skip the second phone interview and get right to an in-person interview so I was really excited. Prior to the on-site interview, they also asked me to complete a social media exercise based on a specific campaign.
At the on-site interview, I was scheduled to meet with three team members. The first half was a panel interview. Within a few minutes, one of the members admitted she hasn't even looked at my resume. Then as I'm talking she's slouching in her chair and barely paying attention to what I'm saying. She then began making assumptions about things I have or have not done in my current role without asking me first.
At one point when I was talking, she got up and left the room without warning.
After our 30 minutes were up, I was told the third member of the team got pulled into a meeting and was unable to meet with me and they would connect with me to set up a time for a phone interview at a later date. So the social media exercise I spent considerable time on was ignored.
Total waste of time, completely disrespectful and unprofessional. BY FAR, the worst interview I've ever participated in.
