Question 1
What has been the most challenging situation for you during the course of your career
General typical interview questions with HR, followed by technical questions specific to the job, in order to know your basic understanding of engineering principles and though process. Being comfortable speaking English is important.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TechnipFMC (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in Sep 2020
Interview
Negative experience.
3 people (1 from HR, 2 from team).
One of the team was heavily insistent on how I would deal if a colleague refused to cooperate. And re-asked it 4 more times what I would do if the colleague still refused.
Then, the same guy asked (condescendingly) why I took more than 5 years completing my degree (when the average time of completion is 8 years in my university for my degree).
Then, they made do a test to see if I was qualified (after THEY contacted ME) for the job.
They said they would give "fast feedback". 8 months in, still didn't get anything from them.
After talking with someone who works there, they only get back to people if they get a job, and ghost others if they dont.
Really bad impression.
