I applied online. I interviewed at MKS Instruments (Rochester, NY) in Apr 2025
Interview
There was a phone call from a recruiter, then an interview with the hiring manager who asked mostly behavioral and 1 technical question. Overall, a very easy process if you can talk about your resume well and be personable.
One phone screen, two teams meetings with manager and his boss, then on site visit for a walk through. After that offer was given by scheduling another teams call for a verbal offer followed by email packet

Question 1
If you had an abhorrent data point while running the hplc. What would you do to prove this number right or wrong?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MKS Instruments (Milpitas, CA)
Interview
I thought it was just an interview screen, but the non-technical interviewer asked technical questions about Assembly commands and some OOP concepts. It was the first round so it was just a screen on zoom, IIRC. Zoom screen and then I talked a little bit about myself, then the interviewer went straight into technical questions.
