Gulf Hotel Front Office interview questions

I received a call from the company informing me that they are hiring and have asked me to report to the hotel for an interview at a specific date and time. When I reached the hotel and told them that I was there for an interview, none of them knew who was in charge of holding the interview and basically got passed around until eventually, one of the managers told me that the position has already been filled internally. I never got interviewed and they just wasted my time. Very unprofessional.
