3 - 4 rounds. Recruiter stage - typical recruiter interview to know more about you, salary expectations, alignment with job description etc.
Hiring Manager stage - learn about your experience, cool personality, it was pretty much a conversation.
Meet with the Team stage - more in depth and technical.
Good interview but weird that I didn't get any feedback after 3 stages, even after sending emails, got blanked.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Everbridge in Feb 2026
Interview
Initial call with recruiter, then a meeting with hiring manager. Then the circus began. I was asked to meet with three pairs of employees (engineering, design, product) for about 30 minutes each. Next stage I presented case studies of my previous work. Assumed it would be to the aforementioned group, but it was an entirely new group of people...more than 8 people muted on a Zoom call. Felt like a horrible group date. Weeks later I had not heard back, so I contacted the hiring manager on LinkedIn and was informed that they had scrapped the entire budget and wouldn't be hiring anyone after all!
Very well organzied clear outlook on next steps and expectations.
First exchange is mostly about the broader experience and to see if its a fit for the role and culturally.
