Te Whatu Ora | Health New Zealand leads the day-to-day running of the New Zealand health system. Functions are delivered at local, district, regional, and national levels. These include: • National Public Health Service • Hospital and specialist services • Primary and community care. • Clinical governance We also work in partnership with the Māori Health Authority to improve services and health outcomes. We want our team of teams to reflect the diversity of the communities we're working to improve care for, including those that historically have been underserved by the health system. We particularly welcome applications from Māori, Pacific people, disabled people, and the LGBTQI+ communities. We try to provide flexible employee practices and conditions to support a healthy work-life balance, including part-time and flexible working arrangements.

THIS IS WHERE IT ALL BEGAN Did you know that Baxter is the first commercial manufacturer of prepared IV solutions? It all started in 1931 in Iowa when Dr. Ralph Falk and Dr. Donald Baxter launched the Don Baxter Intravenous Products Company. Hillrom’s roots go back to when Bill Hillenbrand revolutionized the hospital bed field in 1929. Dr. Francis Welch and William Noah Allyn introduced the world’s first handheld direct-illuminating ophthalmoscope in 1915. What started in the United States has now spread worldwide. Together, we remain dedicated to saving and sustaining lives. Learn more about #LifeAtBaxter and the many career paths at Baxter; explore the career areas that best fit your goals and expertise.
