We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Workforce Planner to join our Workforce Planning team in Auckland. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate staff rosters that align with business demand, customer service expectations, and financial targets.

You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure labour resources are optimised across departments, while maintaining compliance with employment agreements and legislation. This is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Creating efficient and compliant rosters using scheduling tools.
Monitoring business demand and adjusting rosters accordingly.
Liaising with internal departments and external temp labour providers.
Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
Processing scheduling tasks, leave requests, and payroll data.
Maintaining accurate staff records and onboarding new employees into rostering systems.
Supporting reporting and issue resolution related to labour levels and costs.
12 month fixed term
You two days off will fall on weekdays not weekend days

You're an organised and analytical professional with a passion for workforce optimisation. You're confident working with data, systems, and people, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and adaptability are key.
Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Proven administration experience and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Experience in scheduling or rostering (preferred).
A good understanding of NZ employment legislation (preferred).
