Title: Plant Operator

Duties:

• Operate excavators and other heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Dig trenches, foundations, and holes according to project specifications.
• Load and move soil, rocks, debris, and construction materials.
• Perform earthmoving, grading, leveling, and site preparation work.
• Excavate around underground utilities while following safety procedures.
• Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and work instructions.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections of equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and report defects or maintenance requirements.
• Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment.
• Follow workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors, spotters, truck drivers, and other workers on site.
• Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within project deadlines.
• Maintain records of equipment usage and completed work when required.
• Assist with general construction and site duties as needed

Pay: $40.00 – $42.00 per hour
