We are looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Traffic Controllers to join our Traffic Management team. This role involves implementing and maintaining temporary traffic management (TTM) measures to ensure the safety of road users, pedestrians, and work crews across a variety of civil construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a couple of placements.

Job Type: It is a full time/permanent role based in Auckland.

Hours of Work: Min 30 hours p/w, max 45 hours p/w

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and remove traffic management equipment and signage.
• Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Monitor traffic conditions and respond to changing situations.
• Follow traffic management plans and safety procedures.
• Operate Stop/Go paddles and manage traffic flow safely and efficiently.
• Assist with emergency traffic management situations when required.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• No Experience required, we will train you. Must have good learing attitude.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.
• Current New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence.
• Must know how to drive manual car/truck(Level 1)
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
