MASTERCOAT PAINTING SERVICES LIMITED, a provider of professional painting services, is seeking skilled Painters to join its team in the Auckland region. The successful candidates will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship on all projects.

This role requires travel within the region, with all travel and fuel expenses covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, removing old paint, dust, and debris.
• Repair surface imperfections such as cracks and holes using fillers and sanding techniques.
• Mix paints, stains, and coatings to achieve the required colour and finish.
• Apply primers, undercoats, and finishing coats using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Paint, stain, or varnish interior and exterior surfaces according to project specifications.
• Install and finish wallpaper or wall coverings when required.
• Set up and operate ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment in a safe manner.
• Protect surrounding areas such as floors, furniture, and fixtures using drop sheets and masking materials.
• Clean and maintain painting tools, brushes, and equipment after completion of work.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain company quality standards.

The candidates will be required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $30 to $40 per hour.

Other requirements for the role:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Available to work on weekends as required.
• Physically fit to perform manual tasks, including standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality finishes.
• Reliable, punctual, and maintains a positive, professional attitude.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
