About the Role

We're looking for an Intermediate Design Engineer to join our Reticulation Design & Engineering team.

Working across overhead and underground reticulation projects, you'll support the delivery of practical, fit-for-purpose engineering solutions that create value for our customers. You'll gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to construction and long-term asset management.

You'll be involved in:

• Delivering reticulation designs for overhead and underground network projects
• Supporting project planning, design estimates, pricing, and project delivery
• Working closely with customers, contractors, and operational teams
• Applying engineering standards and industry best practice to deliver quality outcomes
• Contributing to continuous improvement and innovative engineering solutions

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• An engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
• Experience working within, or alongside, a New Zealand Electricity Distribution Business (EDB)
• Knowledge of distribution and reticulation networks
• Experience using AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite
