About your team / Ko te tima
Sitting within the Finance business unit, the Business Support team is part of WorkSafe's Corporate group, providing a centralised administration support function across WorkSafe. The overall team consists of our Business Support Coordinators who work collaboratively across the motu.
About the role / O te turanga
As a Business Support Coordinator, you will support and contribute to the efficient management of Mahi Haumaru's administrative and coordination process, systems and activity. You will be supporting a range of managers and kaimahi with different administrative tasks. The role requires someone with sharp focus who can provide vital support to WorkSafe managers and teams across a range of core business tasks, from finance processes and system admin to travel coordination and event support. You'll thrive in this role if you appreciate dependable routines and find satisfaction in keeping operations running smoothly through reliable, detail-focused work. The ideal candidate is adaptable, ready to pivot between responsibilities, and committed to continuous improvement in administrative capability.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role, with Christchurch as the preferred location.

Salary range / Awhe utu
As part of our remuneration framework, the full salary range for this role is $67,990-$88,096. The expected starting base salary is $67,990-$74,616 (KiwiSaver/SSRSS employer contributions are additional). From 1 April 2026 our KiwiSaver employer contribution will rise to 3.5%.
